“Sulla bolla di sapone” is a concept album inspired by the homonymous story by the German writer Kurd Lasswitz (1848-1910). Wendel’s adventure is transposed into music. He’s a scientist who invents Microgen, a device that miniaturizes the narrator and himself, and leads them to live a several years on a soap bubble. The central theme is that expressed by the passage “Il peso della conoscenza” which elaborates the dichotomy between disclosure and responsible silence. Musically, the album develops alternating songs to instrumental suites with prog rock sounds, interspersed with the acoustics tracks “Il mondo bianco opaco” and “Riflessioni”.
